The original ask was to name a new Mountain Dew flavor sold exclusively at Taco Bell. We gave it the name Baja Blast, bringing together the allure of the Mexican peninsula with the adventurous energy of the Mountain Dew brand. Years later, responding to fan demand, PepsiCo also launched Baja Blast in cans and bottles. Still going strong after 15 years, fans celebrated with the Baja Blast Birthday Freeze in 2019.
